Vertova Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17462329) runs this website and is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: privacy@vertova.co.uk.

Browsing

If you agree, we use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets cookies and sends Google details such as the pages you view, your browser and an approximate location. We don't use advertising cookies, and nothing is set until you choose Accept. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request data (such as your IP address) to deliver and protect the site.

Some features load from other services, which receive your IP address when they do:

• Maps: map tiles come from OpenStreetMap.
• Postcode search: the postcode you type is sent to postcodes.io to find its location. We don't store it.
• Page code: map software loads from cdnjs (Cloudflare).

Corrections

If you send a correction or a feature idea we keep your message, the page you came from and, if you give it, your email address, so we can check it and reply. We use it only for that, and delete it after 12 months.

Customers

If you buy a plan, Stripe processes your payment and billing details; we receive your name, email, address and subscription status. We keep these for as long as you're a customer and as long as tax law requires afterwards. API keys are stored only in hashed form.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it, by emailing privacy@vertova.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Schools' information

School pages contain information about organisations, published by the schools themselves or by the Department for Education. They don't contain information about individual pupils or staff.
