- Run by
- A group of 13 London independent girls' schools, which run one shared entrance assessment designed with their test provider, Quest Assessments.
- Area
- London
- Format
- One online test of 100 minutes in total, sat in Year 6, with a break of up to 30 minutes after the Verbal Reasoning section. Six sections, in this order: Maths (20 minutes), Non-Verbal Reasoning (10 minutes), English (20 minutes), Verbal Reasoning (10 minutes), then after the break Problem Solving (15 minutes) and Creative Comprehension (25 minutes). Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning are adaptive (questions adjust to how the child is doing); English, Problem Solving and Creative Comprehension are the same for everyone on a given day. Maths is based on the Year 5 National Curriculum and there is no extended writing. The test is taken at the child's current school if it can host it; otherwise at a Consortium school the family has applied to (parents give a 1st and 2nd choice). The Consortium also uses a common reference form from the current school (not compulsory), and each school runs its own interview. Godolphin and Latymer and South Hampstead High School select for interview from the assessment; other schools set their own approach, so check each school's website. Access arrangements such as 25% extra time follow JCQ rules and need written evidence by the registration deadline.
- Children from outside the area
- Overseas applicants are welcome to travel to sit the test at a Consortium school. Families who would prefer their daughter to sit it overseas should contact the admissions team at one of the Consortium schools they have applied to.
