About Termwise

How we make money

Termwise is free for families, and it will stay that way.

Businesses pay for data

Companies such as holiday firms, childcare providers and app makers pay for our data API and bulk data licences. That pays for checking term dates, fees and admissions against each school's and council's own pages.

Some links are adverts

A few links to revision sites, books, holidays and days out are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the company gives Termwise a share of the sale. It costs you nothing extra. Every one is marked (Ad), and pages with them say so near the top.

What we don't do

• No company can pay to be listed, or to be ranked higher.
• Our picks are chosen on how useful they are for families, and free options come first.
• We don't sell your data, and we don't use advertising cookies.
