Torbay Selective Schools 11+ Tests

The Torbay grammar schools use the same English and Maths selection tests, and a child registers to sit them at just one of the schools. Parents then get a guidance letter saying whether the child reached the standard for the Torbay selective schools; this is not an offer of a place.

Children from outside the area

Applications are welcomed from any primary school; families outside Torbay apply through their own council's Common Application Form, which is passed to Torbay.
