Trafford Grammar School Consortium entrance test
One shared entrance exam for five Trafford grammar schools, sat in September of Year 6. Children who score 334 or above reach the qualifying score and can be considered by the consortium schools chosen on their test application, but this does not guarantee a place.

- Two tests, each approximately one hour, provided by GL Assessment as a bespoke paper for the Trafford Consortium, with questions assessing verbal, non-verbal and mathematics skills. From 2028 entry the provider changes to Future Stories Community Enterprise (FSCE) and the test will draw on the Key Stage 2 curriculum up to the end of Year 5.
